Madrid, 7 April 2026. Línea Directa Aseguradora strengthens its positioning in the home insurance segment with a clear, simple and flexible offering that addresses customers’ real needs. The company has launched its new Home Insurance, which stands out for its customization options based on each policyholder’s profile, the breadth of its coverage, a range of policies that are easy to compare and understand, and a strong commitment to service quality. In this way, the company presents an insurance proposition aligned with today’s diverse households and evolving customer needs.
The new Línea Directa Home Insurance is available in three plans: Essential, Comprehensive and Comprehensive Plus, all with customization options.
Each plan offers a different level of protection while maintaining a structure that is easy to compare and understand, allowing policyholders to clearly identify the scope of coverage for each option and the available add-ons. This approach aims to simplify the customer’s relationship with their insurance and to better adapt the product to the needs of each home.
The policy, available for apartments of all floor levels, duplexes, semi-detached houses and single-family homes, is aimed at homeowners, tenants and landlords, and can be taken out for main residences, second homes and rental properties.
Broad coverage addressing new risks
Línea Directa’s new Home Insurance includes comprehensive and extensive essential cover, such as various types of third-party liability, material damage (fire, water, electrical damage and adverse weather events), theft, home assistance (maintenance, appliances and emergencies), legal protection and coverage for loss of use of the home.
It also includes differentiating guarantees such as damage to household furnishings and garden and terrace trees; extensive technology assistance coverage, through which the company resolves issues involving customers’ devices such as computers, mobile phones and Wi-Fi networks; and a premium handyman and maintenance service, including specific services for single-family homes, among others.
Customers may also extend their protection with coverage designed to address increasingly common domestic risks. These include protection and compensation against digital fraud and identity theft—growing threats associated with the greater use of connected devices. In addition, coverage limits are increased for other innovative guarantees in this line of business that already exist in the policy wording, such as protection against illegal occupation of the home.
The new Home Insurance also incorporates a range of coverages aligned with the company’s strategic sustainability vision, such as coverage for electric vehicle chargers and solar panels installed in the home, digital assistance and training for senior citizens, and coverage for wheelchairs used by people with reduced mobility. In this way, Línea Directa’s Home Insurance contributes to the company’s 2026–2028 Sustainability Plan objectives through the launch of sustainable products, the promotion of sustainable mobility and home safety, and support for vulnerable groups.
Clear and simple language
In line with its commitment to offering clear and simple insurance, Línea Directa has redesigned its policy terms and conditions, introducing a more visual format and straightforward language that allows customers to clearly identify the scope of the product and the coverages purchased. By way of example, and among other new features, the documentation includes a simplified section that highlights urgent and practical information for customers on a single page and explains, in a more schematic format, what each coverage includes.
In addition, increased efficiency derived from digitalization and operational improvements enables Línea Directa to offer policyholders an increasingly agile and efficient service.
With this new portfolio—based on an offering of insurance with broad and differentiating coverage, customizable, focused on customers’ real needs and competitively priced—Línea Directa renews its positioning in the home insurance segment, where it has established itself as one of the leading direct insurers.
Patricia Ayuela, CEO of Línea Directa Aseguradora, stated: “The new Home Insurance represents a significant step forward in our commitment to offering our customers clear, simple and competitive insurance products that address their real needs. We aim to be the benchmark general insurance company for individuals, SMEs and self-employed professionals, leading the market in efficiency, service quality and brand appeal.”
